Mia Mrasco joins the Fabulate team

Leading Australian content marketing platform Fabulate has hired Mia Marasco as it expands its Melbourne sales operation.

Marasco will take the role of Account Director - Melbourne at the content marketing firm, which connects brands and freelance creators in the content marketing space, as it grows its footprint into the Melbourne market.

“We are so excited to welcome Mia to the Melbourne team. I have known Mia for many years and have always admired her enthusiasm, creativity and work ethic,” said Marie Galinsky, Sales Director - Melbourne of Fabulate. “She’s going to add so much value to the team and another dimension to our client solutions, given her agency experience.”

“I promised myself that my next step in media would be with a company that not only aligned with my personal values but that made me feel intrigued, inspired and most of all excited. Having worked on the agency side and more recently publisher side I can see a need for simplification of creating quality content that has the power to cut through. Fabulate fills this gap and I am so pleased to be a part of an incredible team bringing it to market.” said Marasco.

Most recently Marasco was Digital Account Manager at Quantcast and prior to that held various roles at independent agency Nunn Media.

Fabulate was co-founded by former senior Nine Digital sales executives Ben Gunn and Nathan Powell together with entrepreneur Toby Kennett and ex-Qantas executive Sachin Singh, with the aim to transform the way brands do content marketing. In the past year it has seen major brands such as Uber, Virgin Australia and World Vision sign on to use the platform in order to deliver quality content marketing campaigns at scale and velocity.

The appointment of Marasco in Melbourne comes hot off the heels of Galinsky being charged with building the best content marketing sales and strategy team in the Victorian market as Fabulate expands its creator network to include other growth mediums like video, visual design and audio solutions.

“2022 is already gearing up to be an even bigger year and we could not be more excited about the opportunity that lies in the Australian content marketing space.” said Chief Revenue Officer, Ben Gunn. “Brands are acutely aware of the importance attention plays in getting cut through with their desired audience and it is one of the reason we are seeing such amazing growth in the content marketing sector of the industry right now.  We couldn't be more excited to be seeing the adoption of the Fabulate tech and the results it is delivering for our clients.  Having Mia in the team, with her passion, energy and experience is going to be great for the Melbourne market.”
