Data is collected from various public sources such as about us sections, captions, post descriptions, images, videos, and other publicly available information, encompassing every creator profile. The information of public creators is systematically organised and consolidated into the Fabulate Discovery + Outreach platform.

Utilising diverse Machine Learning models, public creator data is processed to provide comprehensive insights about creators and their audiences. This includes valuable metrics like growth rate, engagement rate, and even the detection of fake followers. Complex mathematical computations are efficiently handled by computers, enabling you to quickly evaluate and authenticate influencers and creators.

Are creators signed up to the Fabulate platform?

Fabulate implements a distinctive hybrid model for Discovery + Outreach that enables us to leverage various data sources. This includes utilising publicly available data, connecting with creators who have onboarded and registered with Fabulate, as well as collaborating with talent agencies representing these creators. Based on the individual setup of each creator, you have the flexibility to access their data, reach out to their agent, or directly engage with them using the built-in Outreach tool within the platform.

To streamline the billing and contracting processes, we encourage you to take advantage of our seamless approach. After reaching out to a creator and negotiating their fee, we recommend inviting them to sign up on the Fabulate platform. This enables you to maintain a continuous conversation while benefiting from the convenience of streamlined billing and contracting procedures.

How does Fabulate Discovery analyse follower data?

The determination of age involves AI analysis of the photos and profile images posted by the account. We regularly update this information by examining the latest selfies as well as the bio descriptions provided by the creator.

Gender estimation is carried out by analysing various factors such as photos, captions, and names. For instance, if a creator's first name is "Sarah" and they frequently post photos of a woman's face, they will be categorised as female.

To determine the location, we conduct an analysis of multiple elements including location tags, languages, descriptions, captions, bios, and more. These factors help us ascertain the geographical location associated with the creator.

How does Fabulate Discovery detect fake followers?

Fabulate Discovery employs network graph analysis to assess the authenticity of followers and likes. By evaluating hundreds of millions of accounts, we establish a baseline for typical social media user behaviour. This behaviour is then compared to the average behaviour within the specific network. Accounts that fall below a certain score threshold are identified as potentially fake. Several criteria are considered in this scoring process, including the presence of a profile image, the ratio of following to followers, the account's age, the number of posts, and the availability of a bio.

Can Fabulate Discovery identify data on an influencer's sponsored content?

Sponsored posts are identified through approximately 50 indicators that suggest the post is sponsored. These indicators include the presence of hashtags such as #sponsored, #ad, #paid, and similar ones. Any content containing these hashtags is marked and categorised as sponsored content. Furthermore, this classification extends to posts that utilise in-platform disclosure features, such as the Paid Partnerships feature on Instagram.

Fabulate Discovery can provide information on up to 10 sponsored posts. Typically, we consider a time period of the past two calendar months or analyse up to the last 500 posts. However, for older accounts, we may have data that goes back further into the past.

How frequently is the data in Fabulate Discovery updated to ensure accuracy and relevance?

There are three layers of data that make up Fabulate Discovery:

- Basic profile data: followers, influencer handle and creator name
- Basic user data: URL, profile picture, engagements, engagement rate, verification, bio recent posts, post count
- Analysed data: audience data, average likes, popular posts etc.

Basic profile data is updated as often as a profile is refreshed. Basic user data is updated bi-weekly. Analysed data is updated on a minimum of a monthly basis.

Additionally, we gather valuable insights by capturing the frequently used hashtags, topics, and keywords employed by each creator. Furthermore, we analyse the bio descriptions, which often provide relevant information about the creator's niche or area of expertise.
